Soc. 102: 133-227 [147] (In Timberlake's (1976) revision of Protandrena s.str., the name of the species was spelled both as angusticeps (p. 141 and 219) and augusticeps (p. 147). As first revisers, we choose angusticeps as the valid original spelling) .
Type data: holotype SEMK <M> , paratype SEMK , paratype UCRC.
Type locality: Mexico, Puebla, Izucor, 7 miles N of Matamoros.
