Remarks
The southern Nearctic and Neotropical records of this taxon probably corresponds to Anthidium zamoranicum. Gonzalez & Griswold (2013: 318) mentions the existence of two "forms" in what they considered as a single species, Anthidium maculifrons. The matter requires further investigation.
