Type data: syntype whereabouts unknown <M> (Although Moure (1967:410) states that the male 'holotype' of <I>Eulaema analis</I> is deposited in the MNHP collection, in his unpublished notes (February 25, 1958), he mentions that the type material of both <I>Eulaema nigrita</I> and <I>E. analis</I> could not be found in that collection. Nemésio (2009:172) also states that the type material of <I>Eulaema analis</I> was not found in the MNHP collection (G. A. R. Melo, unpubl.)).

Type data: lectotype MSNT <F> (Nemésio (2009:172) states that the lectotype could not be located in the MSNT collection. According to Moure's notes, he found two females from Cayenne in the Serville collection, and selected one as lectotype (G. A. R. Melo, unpubl.)).
