Type data: holotype MZUSP 102.943 <M> (Nemésio & Rasmussen (2011:23) considered that the name was proposed based on more than a single specimen and treated the MZUSP specimen as a syntype. Even if this is the case, Moure (1967:410) then should be considered to have validly designated a lectotype (G. A. R. Melo, unpubl.)).
Type locality: Venezuela.
Euplusia yepezi

Type data: holotype DZUP <F> (Moure (2000), when proposing the species, mistakenly refers to a male specimen in the Abstract).
Type locality: Venezuela, Aragua, Rancho Grande.
