Type data: lectotype ANSP 10145 <F> (It is not clear if the type specimen should be considered a holotype or lectotype. We are assuming that the interpretation presented by Broemeling & Moalif (1988: 211) is correct).
Subsequent designation: Cresson, E. T. (1928). The types of Hymenoptera in the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia other than those of Ezra T. Cresson. Mem. Am. Entomol. Soc. 5: 90 [66] .
Type locality: Mexico, Mexico, Amecameca.
