Tetrapedia morricola
Strand, E. (1910). Beiträge zur Kenntnis der Hymenopterenfauna von Paraguay. Zool. Jahrb. Abt. Syst. Geogr. Biol. Tiere 29: 455-562 [518] (Strand indicated a female as the type specimen. This must be a mistake, since the only specimen at the ZMB collection, certainly the holotype, is a male. This specimen has the labels: “Paraguay M/ S. Amer./ Villa Morra/ 7.XII.04/ J.D. Anistis” “TYPE” “Tetrape-/ dia mor-/ ricola Strand det.”. Also, in the description, Strand indicates that the mandibles, labrum and the lower portion of the clypeus are yellow, characters which are not observed in females) .
Type data: holotype ZMB <M>.
Type locality: Paraguay, Central, Villa Morra.
