Zootaxa 4712 (4): 451-496 [484] (It is not possible to know from the original publication to which of the authors appearing under the name “Oliveira” the authorship of the taxon should be attributed) .
Type data: holotype INPA <F> worker (The depository of the holotype is not provided in the original publication. See Almeida et al. (2020: 83)).
Type locality: "PR. LONDRINA, 17/05/2013, CUNHA, L.C. Leg.".

Remarks

This species is being interpreted here in the sense established by Melo & Costa (2004), who restricted the application of the name latitarsis to the population found along the Parana river in southeastern Brazil. The new meaning established by Nogueira et al. (2017), based on a new lectotype designation, is not followed here and is treated as invalid. A full treatment of the entire taxonomic situation should be dealt with in a separate publication.

Distribution

Neotropical Region: Brazil (Goiás [Catalão], Mato Grosso do Sul [Três Lagoas], Minas Gerais [Alpinópolis, Brasilândia De Minas, Uberaba], Paraná [Floraí, Londrina], São Paulo [Bauru, Cajuru, Icém, Jaboticabal, Jundiaí, Lençóis Paulista, Luís Antônio, Ribeirão Preto, Teodoro Sampaio])
