Type data: holotype PMQ 1663 <F> worker (A type specimen, number 1663, was examined by Schwarz, 1939: 107, but no other information is given. Probably deposited in PMQ. Roubik, 1992: 510 mentioned one "paratype" number 2325 in USNM, from Sangre Grande, Trinidad.) , paratype USNM 2325 <F> worker.
Type locality: Trinidad.
