In subsequent papers, however, Ducke employed the spelling friesei (e.g., Ducke, 1908, 1912). His emendation was followed by subsequent authors and can be considered in prevailing usage. Therefore, according to ICZN's Art. 33.2.3.1, friesei should be treated as a justified emendation) .
